The Ultraflex B74 control box is a dual-action twin-lever unit for two engines: it handles the throttle and gear shift of each engine on independent levers, on boats with an outboard, inboard or sterndrive engine. It automatically prevents the gear shift from engaging unless the throttle is at idle.

How to choose
The B74 is for two engines with independent levers; for a single engine there are the B73 and the B77 (with trim). The B74 and B66 share the same declared features: choose the one you need or already have on board.

Which cables is it compatible with?
With the C2, C8, C14, MachZero and MACH14 cables. The C5, C16 and MACH5 cables need the K35 adapter kit.
How many engines is it for?
For two engines.
Does it prevent accidental gear engagement?
Yes. It automatically prevents the gear shift from engaging unless the throttle is at idle. Pulling the lever outward disengages the gear shift while the engine warms up.
Do I need the X12 safety switch?
It is optional: with the X12 the engine starts only with the gear shift in neutral, and the box complies with EN ISO 11547.
