All products sold by Terranova are covered by the manufacturer's conventional warranty and by the consumer protection provisions set out in Italian Legislative Decree No. 24/2002. Below you will find the detailed conditions for exercising your rights.
Warranty Duration
The warranty for lack of conformity is 24 months for private consumers (individuals purchasing for personal use without providing a VAT number) and 12 months for companies, professionals and sole traders (legal entities with a registered invoice), pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 24/2002.
To make use of the warranty service, the Customer must retain the receipt or invoice sent by email at the time of purchase.
How to Request Warranty Service
Warranty service can be handled directly by Terranova. In this case, the Customer must send the product to our premises.
⚠️ Please note: all shipping costs for returning the product to Terranova and for re-delivery to the Customer are in all cases borne by the Customer.
Manufacturer's Warranty
The manufacturer's warranty is provided in accordance with the terms described in the documentation included in the product packaging.
If, following an inspection by an Authorised Service Centre, the defect is found to be not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, the Customer will be charged for any inspection and repair costs requested by the authorised service, as well as any shipping costs borne by Terranova.
Legal Conformity Warranty (D.Lgs. 24/2002)
The 24-month legal warranty applies to products with a lack of conformity, provided they are used correctly and in accordance with the intended purpose stated in the accompanying technical documentation.
This warranty applies exclusively to private consumers — individuals purchasing for non-professional purposes who do not provide a VAT number on the order form.
Where a lack of conformity is confirmed, Terranova will provide, at no cost to the Customer:
- repair at an Authorised Service Centre;
- replacement of the product, if repair is not possible;
- price reduction or contract termination in the cases provided by law.
If the inspection reveals no lack of conformity, the Customer will be charged for any inspection, repair and shipping costs borne by Terranova.
Replacement Not Possible
Should Terranova be unable to repair or replace a product under warranty, it may — subject to the Customer's agreement — offer one of the following alternative solutions:
- replacement with an equivalent product of comparable features and value;
- issuance of a store credit voucher of equal value, valid for 6 months from the date of issue, redeemable on any other product in the catalogue.
Liability for Delays
Terranova cannot be held liable for any delays in carrying out repairs or replacements of products under warranty.
Returning a Product: Packaging Instructions
The product must be returned in its complete original packaging, including all components: packaging materials, manuals, cables, accessories and documentation.
To protect the original packaging, we recommend placing it inside an additional outer box whenever possible. It is strictly forbidden to apply labels or adhesive tape directly to the original product packaging.
