The Ultraflex B73 control box is a dual-action single-lever unit: one lever controls the throttle and the hydraulic gear shift on boats with an outboard, inboard or sterndrive engine. It automatically prevents the gear shift from engaging unless the throttle is at idle. Pulling the lever outward disengages the gear shift while the engine warms up.

How to choose
The B73 is the single-lever unit for one engine without trim; the B77 is the version with a trim switch in the handle. For two engines you need the twin-lever B66 or B74.

Which cables is it compatible with?
With the C2, C8, C14, MachZero and MACH14 cables. The C5, C16 and MACH5 cables need the K35 adapter kit.
How many engines is it for?
For one engine.
Do I need the X12 safety switch?
It is optional: with the X12 the engine starts only with the gear shift in neutral, and the box complies with EN ISO 11547.
