Thanks to the Thuraya satellite network, users can make and receive voice calls and SMS across Europe, Africa and Asia, without relying on local infrastructure. Compact Design and Long-Lasting Battery
Measuring 128 × 53 × 27 mm and weighing just 186 g, the Thuraya XT-LITE is built to be carried at all times. The lithium-polymer battery with 2,680 mAh capacity delivers up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 80 hours of standby, ensuring reliability during extended missions or emergency situations.
Omnidirectional Satellite Antenna and Integrated GPS
The device features a retractable omnidirectional satellite antenna (10 cm) that optimises signal reception even in challenging environmental conditions. The integrated GPS positioning system enables autonomous geographic location tracking. Available connectors include a 2.5 mm audio jack, Micro-USB and an external antenna port.
Environmental Resistance and Reliability in Extreme Conditions
The Thuraya XT-LITE is built to operate in harsh environments. It withstands temperatures from -10°C to +55°C, humidity levels up to 95% RH at +40°C and solar radiation resistance up to 1,120 W/m². Mechanical robustness is rated for vibrations in the range of 200–2000 Hz at 0.3 m/s², ensuring consistent performance even under intense physical stress.
Intuitive Interface and Multilingual Support
The menu is available in 12 languages, including English, making the device accessible to a wide international user base. The 2-inch display (176 × 220 pixels) provides clear readability even in direct sunlight. Internal memory supports up to 255 contacts, and the device is compatible with Windows operating systems for data synchronisation via Micro-USB.
