Non-oil teak protection treatment
Teak Wonder Dressing & Sealer is a protective treatment for teak designed to preserve the natural appearance of teak wood in marine environments. Its non-oil-based formulation gives teak a pleasant golden look without darkening the wood, unlike many traditional oil-based treatments.
Protection against dirt and UV exposure
Even new teak can age quickly if it is not regularly rinsed with fresh water or treated with a suitable protective product. Teak Wonder Dressing & Sealer contains special components that seal the pores of the wood, helping to reduce the penetration of dust and dirt.
The treatment also helps protect the natural oils of teak from ultraviolet rays, slowing down oxidation and discoloration. This contributes to maintaining a more uniform and natural appearance of the wood over time.
Alternative to traditional oil-based teak treatments
Unlike many oil-based teak treatments, this product does not darken the wood and does not attract dust or dirt. It does not rise to the surface in warm conditions and does not make the deck greasy, sticky or slippery. The product dries quickly, does not accumulate on the surface and maintains the natural finish of teak.
The treatment also helps reduce the penetration of liquids such as diesel, oil, fish blood and paints, making them easier to remove if they are cleaned before drying.
Application
For best results, apply two generous coats to new teak or to teak previously treated with Teak Wonder Cleaner and Teak Wonder Brightener, ensuring that the surface is completely dry.
A follow-up application after 8–12 weeks helps maintain protection without repeating the full cleaning process. The product should be stirred thoroughly before use. Any drips on surfaces other than teak should be cleaned immediately.
