The Seac Shield are reinforced cut-resistant gloves for spearfishing: compared with the Rock Grip they add polyurethane rubber impact inserts on the back of the hand, knuckles and fingers, for maximum hand protection among rocks, dens and abrasive surfaces. They also suit sport fishing and any sea activity where your hands take knocks.
Impact inserts on the most exposed areas
The polyurethane rubber inserts on the back of the hand, knuckles and fingers absorb impacts and protect the areas that most often hit rocks and gear.
Cut-resistant with a secure wet grip
The cut-resistant fabric protects against accidental cuts, abrasions and punctures. The sandy-finish nitrile palm gives high grip even on wet or oily surfaces, for good control of lines, ropes, nets, fishing rods, gear and catch.
Comfort and dexterity
The 2 mm super-stretch construction follows every movement of the hand like a second skin: snug fit, good sensitivity and comfort even on long sessions.

They share the same 2 mm cut-resistant fabric and nitrile palm; the Shield adds impact inserts on the back, knuckles and fingers. For maximum protection choose the Shield; for a simpler, more sensitive glove the Rock Grip.

Yes, the cut-resistant fabric protects against accidental cuts, abrasions and punctures; no glove makes your hand invulnerable, so always take care with blades and spears.
