The Seac Pole Spear 18 is a pole spear with an overall length of 241 cm (95 in) for freedive spearfishing. It is built around a sturdy 18 mm aluminum shaft, 195 cm long, with a 490 mm steel harpoon on an M6 thread and a natural rubber tube sling. It breaks down into two parts and comes with a carry bag.

The extra length lets you get close even to the warier fish and shoot accurately, on the reef, over sandy bottoms or in open water.
Steel harpoon with M6 thread
The 490 mm steel harpoon screws onto a standard M6 male thread. Sharp and tough, it can be unscrewed and replaced when needed, so the pole stays ready season after season.
Natural rubber sling
Power comes from a natural rubber tube sling, 12 mm in diameter and 110 cm long: it loads easily and gives a fast, powerful shot, with the simplicity and reliability of a pole spear.
Two-piece for travel
A threaded joint splits the shaft into two parts: the Pole Spear 18 takes up little space in a suitcase or gear bag and goes back together in seconds when you reach the water. The box also includes a bag that protects shaft and harpoon in transit.

How does it differ from the Seac Pole Spear 14?
The classic Seac Pole Spear has a 14 mm, 160 cm shaft with a 3-prong paralyzer tip. The Pole Spear 18 is longer (241 cm overall) and sturdier, with an 18 mm shaft and a 490 mm steel harpoon: more reach for fish that won’t let you get close.
Can the harpoon and sling be replaced?
Yes, the harpoon unscrews from the M6 thread and Seac offers both as spare parts.
Can I take it on a plane?
Broken down into two parts it fits easily in a suitcase or gear bag; rules on carrying spearfishing gear vary by airline, so check before you travel.
