The Seac Basic HD 3 mm are high-cut diving boots in 3 mm neoprene, the lightest version of the Basic HD line. They are designed for warm water: summer dives, tropical seas, snorkeling and any water activity where you need to protect your feet without overheating them. The thin neoprene keeps a good feel underfoot and dries quickly.
Light protection for warm water
The semi-rigid non-slip sole in vulcanized rubber protects your foot from rocks, sea urchins and rough ground when entering and leaving the water, and gives stability on slippery surfaces. With the 3 mm you get protection without the bulk and warmth of a thicker boot.
On and off in a moment
The stainless steel side zip and the Velcro strap let you put them on and take them off quickly, with a stable fit even when you get in and out of the water often, as on snorkeling trips.
Support and fin strap lock
The PU insert supports the instep while finning. The hard rubber notch on the heel keeps the strap of open heel fins in place, for slip-free finning.

Frequently asked questions
When is the 3 mm the right choice?
When the water is warm: in summer, in the tropics or for snorkeling. For cooler water choose the Basic HD 5 mm, for cold water the Basic HD 7 mm.
Can I use them for snorkeling?
Yes, they are light, protect your feet on the rocks and the zip makes them practical to put on and take off on every trip.
Are they suitable for open heel fins?
Yes, the sole protects your foot and the heel notch keeps the fin strap or spring strap in place.
