The new Galileo HUD is a dive computer with integrated air innovative and absolutely unique. This type of computer, new for the world of diving and equipped with advanced technology, offers a HUD command display mounted on a mask underwater. With the introduction of Galileo HUD, equipped with a exceptional readability and the possibility of data monitoring without the use of hands, SCUBAPRO engineers have made it possible for the user an unprecedented immersion experience.
"FLOATING" COLOR DISPLAY
The Galileo HUD micro OLED display is designed to be mounted on a diving mask near the eye. Thank you to the "near the eye" precision optics, the "floating" display creates a screen image that appears at a virtual distance of 1 m, making it easier for divers to monitor the data of immersion without losing eye contact with the environment surrounding and without having to constantly refocus.
The dive information is shown on the display micro OLED protected in the housing, which offers resistance and excellent readability in all ambient light conditions.
Unlike Galileo HUD, the Combiner Glass technologies. Conventional HUDs and Windshields, available for vehicles, project the data on a sheet of transparent material such as the glass, making them intrinsically fragile and very sensitive to certain light conditions, so not optimal for underwater use.
The HUD display is positioned just above the line of sight of the right eye. This allows the right eye to always maintain an almost maximum range of visibility e to check all dive data simply by raising the look.
USER CONTROL WITH SINGLE KNOB
Galileo HUD has an intuitive push-button wheel that allows access to the HUD and display functions check them with one hand. To operate the push button wheel, simply turn it to scroll through the menu up or down or to increase or decrease the value of a user setting.
Pressing and releasing the push-button wheel turns on the HUD display, accesses the main menu and the various submenus, select functions and save settings. Pressing and holding is possible return to the previous menu or screen, change the settings and, from the Surface screen, turn off the HUD display. Throughout the entire process, on-screen instructions indicate the type of pressure necessary to perform each function.
FLIP-UP PIN
Before or after a dive, or whenever you do not need to quickly access data immersion, Galileo HUD offers a useful flip-up function, reminiscent of military glasses with night vision and allows you to tilt the HUD display up and out of sight. Upon resuming the data monitoring, tilt the display down again and you will be ready to consult the data on yours immersion.
