Designed to offer optimal thermal protection and maximum comfort even on the most demanding dives, the Salvimar Superior neoprene hood is the ideal accessory for those using wetsuits without an integrated hood who want a technical, high-performance, and durable product.
Available in 3 mm and 5 mm thicknesses, this freediving and spearfishing hood is made of Jako neoprene with an outer superstretch lycra coating, ensuring a snug, natural fit that follows head movements without constriction.
The Aqua Stretch fabric inner lining offers exceptional softness against the skin and excellent elasticity, making it easier to put on and ensuring extended comfort during dives.
The Smooth Skin face and neck area ensures an effective watertight seal, limiting cold water infiltration and improving overall thermal insulation.
The double-chamber structure with drainage micro-holes at the top allows controlled release of excess air without compromising thermal protection. The anatomical cut of the hood perfectly follows the shape of the head and neck, reducing muscle fatigue and ensuring freedom of movement even during the longest dives.
A rear elastic ring makes it easy to hang the hood after use or clip it to gear, preventing loss.
