The Proxel SRJ-805 is an ultra-compact tri-band antenna for handheld transceivers, designed to operate simultaneously on the 144 MHz (VHF), 430 MHz (UHF) and 1200 MHz bands. At just 3.5 cm long and weighing only 10 grams, it's the ideal solution for those looking for a spare or replacement antenna that's more discreet and manageable than the original, without sacrificing multiband coverage.
The female SMA connector (threaded body, centre pin) makes it compatible with the vast majority of handheld transceivers using this standard, including numerous Baofeng, Kenwood, Yaesu, Wouxun, Pofung and other models. The manageable maximum power of 10 W makes it suitable for both reception and transmission at the low and medium power levels typical of handheld use.
Thanks to its extremely small size, the Proxel SRJ-805 is particularly popular in contexts where bulk is a critical factor: pocket use, bag transport, use on clones and scanner radios, or simply as a spare antenna kept in an emergency kit.
