Con soli 3,5 cm di lunghezza e un peso di appena 10 grammi, rappresenta la soluzione ideale per chi cerca un'antenna di ricambio o sostitutiva più discreta e maneggevole rispetto all'antenna originale, senza rinunciare alla copertura multibanda.
Il connettore SMA femmina (corpo filettato, pin centrale) la rende compatibile con la grande maggioranza dei ricetrasmettitori portatili che adottano questo standard, tra cui numerosi modelli Baofeng, Kenwood, Yaesu, Wouxun, Pofung e altri. La potenza massima gestibile di 10 W la rende adatta sia alla ricezione che alla trasmissione in condizioni di bassa e media potenza, tipiche dell'utilizzo con portatili.
