Plastimo Iris 100 Tactical compass combines a classic steering compass on the horizontal part of the card (heading read on the lubber lines printed on the base) with a tactical compass on the vertical part, so you only need to memorise one figure for the 3 legs of an olympic course.
What it's for: designed for racing and cruising sailors, it's multi-position and floating: it clips onto a bracket on vertical or horizontal surfaces and can be easily removed. The conical dual-reading tactical card stays horizontal regardless of the mounting angle.
