The Mastervolt Mac Plus 24/24-30 is a DC-DC charger designed to ensure fast, stable and safe charging of the service battery, even on modern vehicles and vessels equipped with smart alternators and Start & Stop systems. Thanks to automatic detection of the running engine, Mac Plus protects the starter battery, preventing any unwanted discharge.
Mastervolt 3-step+ Charging Algorithm
The proven Mastervolt 3-step+ charging algorithm ensures optimal charging even with deeply discharged batteries. Automatic temperature compensation and voltage sensing keep charging parameters always correct, improving efficiency and battery life.
Full compatibility with lead-acid and lithium batteries
Mac Plus 24/24-30 supports a wide range of battery chemistries, including flooded lead-acid, AGM, Gel, spiral and lithium-ion batteries (including LiFePO4). It's fully compatible with Euro 5 and Euro 6 alternators, ensuring constant charging even when the alternator reduces or stops output.
Robust design and silent operation
The high-quality aluminium housing ensures high resistance to dust and moisture. Natural cooling without a fan makes operation completely silent, ideal for marine, camper and specialty vehicle applications. High efficiency, over 95%, minimizes energy losses.
Maximum flexibility and parallel operation
The Mac Plus allows charging of two batteries from a single DC source and supports parallel connection of up to ten units, allowing more than 100 A of combined charging current. Voltage sensing ports compensate for line drops, maintaining precise charging even on complex installations.
Advanced monitoring and system integration
Compatibility with MasterBus allows advanced control for monitoring and smart automation. Configuration can be done via MasterAdjust or directly via DIP switches, ensuring fast and flexible commissioning.
