The Mastervolt Mac Plus 12/12-50 is a high-performance DC-DC battery charger designed to ensure fast, stable and safe charging of service batteries, even in modern vehicles and boats equipped with intelligent alternators and start-stop systems. By automatically detecting engine operation, Mac Plus reliably protects the starter battery from discharge.
Proven Mastervolt 3-Step+ Charging Algorithm
The proven Mastervolt 3-step+ charging algorithm guarantees optimal charging performance, even when batteries are deeply discharged. Integrated temperature compensation and voltage sensing ensure correct charging parameters at all times, extending overall battery lifespan.
Full Compatibility with Lead-Acid and Lithium Batteries
The Mac Plus 12/12-50 supports a wide range of battery chemistries, including flooded lead-acid, AGM, Gel, spiral-wound and lithium-ion batteries (including LiFePO4). It is fully compatible with modern Euro 5 and Euro 6 alternators, delivering consistent charging performance even when alternator output is reduced.
Robust Design and Silent Operation
The rugged aluminium housing provides excellent protection against dust and moisture. Thanks to its natural, fanless cooling design, the Mac Plus operates completely silently, making it ideal for boats, motorhomes and special-purpose vehicles. High efficiency above 95% minimizes energy losses.
Maximum Power Flexibility and Parallel Operation
Mac Plus allows two batteries to be charged from a single DC power source and supports parallel operation of up to ten units, enabling charging capacities exceeding 100 A. Analog voltage sensing ports compensate for voltage drops and ensure accurate charging in complex installations.
Advanced Monitoring and System Integration
Full compatibility with MasterBus, CZone® and NMEA 2000® enables advanced monitoring, control and seamless integration into complete energy management systems. Configuration is simple via MasterAdjust, CZone tools or onboard DIP switches.
