The Mastervolt ChargeMaster Plus 24/40-3 is the new generation of battery chargers that integrates multiple functions into a single device, replacing auxiliary chargers and reducing system complexity and cost. Designed to be versatile, it charges practically any combination of two or three batteries quickly and safely, anywhere in the world.
With the Battery's Best Friend architecture, the ChargeMaster Plus charges batteries of different chemistry, size and voltage using the 3-step+ method. Exclusive features include:
- Revival mode: automatically restores fully discharged batteries.
- Multi-voltage: charges 12V starter batteries on a 24V system without additional components.
- Priority Charge: directs energy to the most discharged battery for faster charging.
- Smart Input: charges all three batteries from a single alternator while travelling.
Global charging and resistance to harsh conditions
Works with all voltages and frequencies worldwide, withstanding large voltage fluctuations and high temperatures. For marine and mobile markets, it complies with CE, ABYC, UL, SAE, CEC/DOE and RCM/C-Tick.
Simple installation and built-in VSR
The display clearly shows the charging phase of all outputs. Robust and ergonomic connections reduce installation time. A built-in VSR eliminates the need for additional components, allowing all three batteries to be recharged from the alternator.
Communication and CZone integration
Thanks to the CAN-based MasterBus protocol, the ChargeMaster Plus communicates with displays, shunts and power systems using standards such as CZone, NMEA 2000 and CANopen (with additional interfaces). Models with the CZone option also natively support NMEA 2000, without needing dedicated interfaces. It can also function as a power supply for sensitive communication equipment.
