The Mares X-Free black mask is a freediving and spearfishing mask designed for those who make no compromises on performance. The design combines an internal volume of under 80 cm³, an excellent hydrodynamic profile, and a set of technical solutions that make it a precise, efficient tool underwater.
The matte anti-reflective finish on both the frame and skirt eliminates light reflections underwater, reducing the diver's visibility to prey. The frame is overmolded onto the anatomical silicone skirt, creating a single unit that provides the right rigidity where needed and an excellent facial fit. Lenses are positioned at minimum distance from the cornea to maximise the field of vision in every direction. The embossed grip area on the nose facilitates attachment of a nose clip — an especially useful feature for freedivers who use pressurisation devices.
Extremely lightweight, with a hydrodynamic profile that reduces water resistance during descent and ascent, and a new-generation silicone integrated into the skirt that minimises fogging.
