Mares SLS Slide and Lock System – Safe and easy-to-use weight system

The Mares SLS Slide and Lock Syste represents the latest generation of diving weight systems , designed to ensure maximum safety, simplicity and reliability underwater .
This innovative system uses mechanical interference technology : when inserting the weight pocket, the locking tabs are automatically pushed into position, preventing accidental release.

When unfastening, the mechanism not only eliminates interference, but also draws the tabs inward thanks to dedicated sliding surfaces, allowing the male and female buckles to be easily separated.

Convenience is ensured by a large ergonomic handle and a guide tunnel on the BCD that perfectly aligns the male and female buckles. A simple press on the slider produces a clear click and the appearance of a closed green padlock icon in a dedicated window, replacing the open red padlock: an immediate visual signal that the device is properly locked.

The small pocket has a capacity of 4kg , the large pocket has a capacity of 6kg , both have a reinforced zipper for added strength.
