The blade is crafted from stainless steel W 1.4116 with a hardness of 55–56 HRC, delivering excellent edge retention and outstanding corrosion resistance in both salt and fresh water environments.
Construction and Materials
The polypropylene (PP) handle provides a secure grip even when wearing diving gloves, while the overall balance of the knife supports confident handling underwater. The MAC Squalo 15 MR is supplied complete with a PP sheath (65 g) for attachment to the thigh or arm.
