Lowrance Precision-9 – Blind Electronic Compass NMEA 2000
The Lowrance Precision-9 is a blind solid-state electronic compass: with no display, it is designed to digitally transmit heading, rate of turn (ROT), pitch and roll data to onboard instruments via NMEA 2000® connection. Compatible with Lowrance navigation systems, radar and autopilot, it delivers a heading accuracy of ±2° after calibration.
Nine-Axis Solid-State Technology
An integrated set of solid-state sensors continuously measures motion and orientation across nine axes, providing accurate and reliable heading, rate of turn, pitch and roll data to compatible equipment.
Simple and Versatile Installation
The easily adjustable mounting bracket allows bulkhead or mast installation, making it ideal for vessels with steel hulls. A single NMEA 2000® connection simplifies onboard wiring. IPX7 waterproof rating for external mounting.
Key Technical Specifications
Power supply 12V DC via NMEA 2000® network (maximum consumption 0.4W). Operating temperature range from -25°C to +65°C. Dimensions: 36 x 119 x 119 mm, weight 165g (+ 130g bracket). Compass safe distance: 500 mm. CE compliant under EMC directive 2014/30/EU.
