When does the delivery take place?

Garmin GPSMAP 79s is a handheld marine GPS designed for reliable navigation during boating and marine activities. Built to withstand harsh conditions on the water, the device is waterproof, floating and highly durable, making it suitable for use aboard boats and in demanding marine environments.
The GPSMAP 79s supports optional BlueChart® g3 marine charts, allowing users to benefit from detailed cartography powered by Garmin and Navionics. This enables easier navigation in coastal and offshore waters while keeping track of routes, locations and important points along the journey.
Rugged design for marine environments
The device features a waterproof IPX7 construction designed for marine conditions. Its high-resolution color display with anti-glare coating ensures clear visibility even in bright sunlight.
The display glass is also scratch-resistant and fog-resistant, helping maintain visibility in humid or changing weather conditions. If the device accidentally falls into the water, the GPSMAP 79s is designed to float, making recovery easier.
Accurate multi-satellite positioning
The GPSMAP 79s supports multiple global satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS. Access to several satellite constellations improves position accuracy and reliability worldwide, especially in areas where satellite reception can be challenging.
The device can store up to 10,000 waypoints, making it easy to mark locations and important navigation points.
Built-in electronic compass
The integrated 3-axis electronic compass with tilt compensation displays heading information even when the vessel is stationary. This feature is particularly useful for low-speed manoeuvres or precise navigation.
Long battery life for extended trips
The GPSMAP 79s uses user-replaceable AA batteries (not included) that provide up to 19 hours of battery life in GPS mode. This allows for extended time on the water without frequent battery changes.
Memory for routes and activities
The expanded memory capacity allows users to store 10,000 waypoints, 250 routes and 300 activities, making it easy to track multiple journeys and navigation paths.
