When does the delivery take place?
Delivery times vary depending on the country and destination postal code. They will be shown at checkout and apply only to products currently in stock.
In some cases, the indicated stock includes items stored in external warehouses, and order processing may take up to 4 working days before shipping.
For products marked as Not in stock, processing may take between 5 and 15 days. If delays occur, our customer service will contact you with timely updates.

Monochrome display readable in any lighting condition
The monochrome screen of the Foretrex 801 ensures excellent readability even in high ambient light conditions. It is also compatible with night vision goggles, a key feature for operations in low-visibility environments.
Multi-band GNSS technology for maximum positional accuracy
The integrated receiver features updated multi-band GNSS technology, delivering greater positional accuracy compared to single-band systems. The advanced navigation sensors include a 3-axis accelerometer, an electronic compass and a barometric altimeter for comprehensive terrain analysis.
Tactical features: Stealth Mode, Kill Switch and Jumpmaster
The Foretrex 801 integrates specific functionality for tactical use:
- Stealth Mode: stops GPS data recording and sharing, and disables wireless connectivity
- Kill Switch: quickly and completely wipes the device memory in emergency situations
- Jumpmaster Mode: calculates high-altitude release points based on military guidelines
MIL-STD-810 military certification and IPX7 water resistance
The device is tested to MIL-STD-810 military standards for resistance to sand, dust, vibration, shock, temperature extremes, altitude and humidity. The IPX7 water resistance rating ensures reliable performance even in adverse weather conditions.
Long battery life with replaceable AAA batteries
The Foretrex 801 is powered by 2 replaceable AAA batteries (not included), with a battery life of up to 100 hours in Navigation mode and up to 1,000 hours in Expedition mode, eliminating dependence on frequent recharging during missions.
Smart connectivity and inReach integration
When paired with a compatible smartphone, the device allows Smart Notifications to be received directly on the display. It is also compatible with the inReach® satellite communicator for on-wrist message viewing. Route planning is supported by the Garmin Explore™ app.
