If the battery is depleted or stabilization is switched off, the binoculars can still be used as conventional binoculars.

The Fujinon Techno-Stabi 16x28 WP is powered by one CR2 lithium battery and offers an operating time of up to 12 hours, depending on ambient temperature. An automatic shut-off after 10 minutes deactivates the image stabilizer when not needed, helping to conserve battery life.
