The Fujinon Hyper-Clarity HC 8x42 is a roof prism binocular with 42mm objective lenses, designed for wildlife and nature observation. The 8x magnification and 8° field of view (136 m at 1,000 m) make it particularly suited to framing moving subjects and wide panoramas.
High-quality SUPER EBC FUJINON optics
All optical surfaces are treated with the exclusive SUPER EBC FUJINON multi-coating, the same technology used on interchangeable lenses for Fujifilm X Series cameras. The ED lens elements effectively control chromatic aberration, while phase-corrected roof prisms deliver a high-resolution, high-contrast image with natural colors across the entire field of view.
Rugged, weather-resistant design
The lightweight yet sturdy magnesium alloy frame is paired with a waterproof and fogproof structure suited to outdoor use in harsh conditions. The slip-resistant elastomeric coating and ergonomic shape provide a stable grip even when handheld, while the 18 mm eye relief makes it easy to use even with glasses.
Filter thread for optical filters
The front lenses are threaded M46×0.75 for mounting optical filters, including PL polarizing filters, useful for controlling backlight in various observation conditions.
