Fujinon 7x50 WPC-XL Marine Binoculars with Suunto Compass
The Fujinon 7x50 WPC-XL is a waterproof marine binocular with 7x magnification, 50 mm objective lenses and a Suunto magnetic compass built into the objectives, illuminated by LED for day and night navigation on open water. It belongs to Fujinon's Mariner WP series, the brand's entry-level line for boating and sailing, made in Japan to withstand shocks, moisture and extreme temperatures.
Illuminated Suunto compass for night navigation
The integrated Suunto magnetic compass stays readable in the dark thanks to its illuminated LED display, powered by a circuit placed on the opposite objective to avoid exposed electrical interfaces. It's the ideal tool for anyone who needs a quick heading reference during night sailing or in low-visibility conditions.
Waterproof, rugged construction
The body is hermetically sealed and nitrogen-filled, making it waterproof (submersible) and fogproof, with no internal condensation during rapid temperature changes. The polycarbonate frame keeps it light at 910 g compared to other Porro prism binoculars, while the high-grip rubber armor protects against knocks and abrasion.
Bright optics built for the sea
The 7x50 configuration with fully multi-coated Bak4 Porro prisms delivers a wide 7 mm exit pupil, ideal in low light when the eye's pupil is more dilated. A field of view of 122 m at 1000 m is perfect for scanning wide stretches of open water, while 18 mm of eye relief keeps eyeglass wearers comfortable. Focus is set independently on each eyepiece, so once calibrated no further adjustment is needed on board.
