The Fujinon 7x50 WP-XL is a waterproof marine binocular with 7x magnification and 50 mm objective lenses, built for reliable use in demanding marine environments. It's the entry-level model in Fujinon's Mariner WP series, without an integrated compass, made in Japan to withstand shocks, moisture and extreme temperatures.
Waterproof, lightweight construction
The body is hermetically sealed and nitrogen-filled, making it waterproof (submersible) and fogproof, with no internal condensation during rapid temperature changes. The polycarbonate frame makes it one of the lightest Porro prism binoculars in its class at just 810 g, while the high-grip rubber armor and included floating strap protect against knocks and loss overboard.
Bright optics for the open sea
The 7x50 configuration with fully multi-coated Bak4 Porro prisms delivers a 7 mm exit pupil, ideal in low light. A field of view of 122 m at 1000 m is perfect for scanning wide stretches of sea or nature, while 18 mm of eye relief keeps eyeglass wearers comfortable. Focus is set independently on each eyepiece, so once calibrated no further adjustment is needed on board.
What's included
- Floating swivel neck strap
- Protective carrying case
- Objective lens covers
- Lens cleaning cloth
