The Cressi Tao Dry snorkel takes its name from a simple idea: “Tao” means “the way”, the natural path, and that is how snorkelling should feel. Breathe naturally while the equipment fades into the background, so you can focus on what is beneath the surface.
The top has a splash guard and a float mechanism that seals the snorkel when you dip below the surface, so you don’t have to worry about breathing in water by accident. If water does get in, it collects at the bottom and the lower purge valve lets you clear it instantly with a quick, strong exhale.
A generous bore provides ample airflow and the lower part is made of flexible silicone, which sits naturally in your mouth, adds comfort and reduces jaw fatigue. When you duck dive to look closer, the flexible section lets the mouthpiece drop away and tuck under your chin, out of your way.
The mouthpiece is user-replaceable, so the Tao will last for many years. The mask strap keeper has a quick-release button: just push to detach the snorkel from the strap.
Designed by Cressi with decades of snorkelling and diving experience, the Tao Dry works with any mask.
