The Cressi Start is the simple, robust and efficient BCD jacket, designed to meet the needs of dive centres and professional businesses looking for a reliable, durable and cost-effective product. Its essential construction makes it ideal for intensive use in rental and diving instruction settings.
Air Cell Material and Construction
The air cell combines 1000 denier Cordura® on the outside, including pockets and shoulder straps, with a 500 denier fabric on the inside, ensuring an optimal balance between abrasion resistance and overall lightness of the BCD.
Attachment System and Organisation
The integrated attachment system for gauge and octopus is particularly useful in dive centres, where quick organisation of equipment is essential. A small pocket above the shoulder pad allows the folded octopus hose to be tucked away, keeping everything tidy during the dive.
Pockets and Comfort
The high-capacity pockets feature velcro closure and a wide flap for easy, secure access to their contents. The waist strap, separate from the air cell, eliminates pressure during inflation, while the chest strap helps provide a stable, comfortable fit throughout the dive.
Backplate and Lift Capacity
The semi-rigid backplate is extremely lightweight and durable, while an outstanding size-to-lift-capacity ratio is ensured by the new design and the spacers installed inside the air cell. The size is clearly visible on the right shoulder pad for quick identification.
Inflation System
The direct system integrates a dual air filtering system, easily removable for emergency cleaning, ensuring reliability and simplified maintenance over time.
