A good neoprene hood makes a big difference to how long you stay comfortable in the water. The Cressi Resilient Bib adds an integrated bib: it is made of highly elastic double-layer neoprene, available in 3 and 5 mm, soft and flexible.

The deep bib extends down to cover the nape and the upper chest, where heat is lost fastest, and adds an extra layer of thermal protection. This wider coverage also gives a better seal with the wetsuit: less water gets in and cold water reaches the skin less.
