Vai al moduloThe Cressi Neon Red is the watch-style scuba and freediving computer for divers who want a single instrument for scuba, freediving and snorkelling: just two buttons, Air, Nitrox, Gauge and Free modes, a large 38 mm UFDS screen and a 48 mm case no more than 14 mm high. It is designed, developed and built in Italy by Cressi Elettronica, the electronics division of Cressi, the Genoa-based brand active since 1946. This version comes in the Red colour (manufacturer code KS840058).
Why choose the Cressi Neon
- Four modes in one instrument: Air, Nitrox (EAN), Gauge and Free for freediving, plus an OFF mode for snorkelling and swimming.
- Two gas mixes in the same dive: first mix from 21% to 50% O2, second from 21% to 99%.
- Cressi RGBM Wienke algorithm with 9 compartments, optional deep stop and a three-level safety factor (SF0, SF1, SF2).
- Ultra-flat, shock-resistant technopolymer case, with a thermoplastic rubber strap and stainless steel buckle.
- User-replaceable CR2450 battery, with an indicative life of about 4 years (50 dives a year).
Main features
Air and Nitrox programme
The versatile Air/Nitrox programme processes all dive data, showing NO DEC TIME and DEC TIME, no-fly time and desaturation time. PO2 can be set from 1.2 to 1.6 bar and the computer allows repetitive dives with different mixes, even alternating Nitrox and air during desaturation. The PLAN mode lets you plan the dive before entering the water.
Gauge mode
The Gauge mode is a depth gauge and timer without decompression calculations: it shows current and maximum depth, average depth, temperature, dive time in minutes and seconds and a stopwatch that can be reset underwater. It has its own 50-dive logbook, independent of the other programmes.
Free programme for freediving
The Free programme shows depth, temperature, dive counter, maximum depth, dive time, surface interval and session length. Alarms can be set for depth, dive time, surface interval and recovery time.
Safety and alarms
- Graphic ascent rate indicator with visual and audible alarms, which can be silenced
- Alarms for PO2, CNS, decompression, omitted decompression stop and maximum depth exceeded (optional)
- Graphic CNS oxygen toxicity indicator
- Optional safety stop for dives within the no-decompression limits
- Deep stop that can be switched on or off and altitude setting
Logbook, watch and interface
The logbook stores up to 50 dives per mode or 40 hours. Out of the water the Neon works as a watch in 12/24-hour format with calendar and seconds, stopwatch, alarm, second time display and a high-intensity backlight. With the optional Cressi Bluetooth interface (sold separately) you can view your dive profiles.
Ideal for courses and rental
The reset function in the menu clears the residual nitrogen memory and is designed for dive centres. The reset must never be used if the instrument is going to be used on subsequent dives.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Cressi Neon suitable for freediving too?
Yes. The Free programme shows depth, dive time, surface interval and session length, with adjustable alarms, and the OFF mode lets you use it for snorkelling and swimming without unnecessary alarms.
Does the Neon support Nitrox and two gas mixes?
Yes: the first mix can range from 21% to 50% O2 and the second from 21% to 99%, with PO2 from 1.2 to 1.6 bar. Cressi recommends using Nitrox mixes only after completing a specific course and always checking the O2 percentage set before every dive.
What battery does it use and can I replace it myself?
It uses a user-replaceable CR2450 battery, with a low-battery indicator and an indicative life of about 4 years at 50 dives a year.
Can I download my dives?
Yes, with the optional Cressi Bluetooth interface you can view and transfer your dive profiles.
Safety note: the Neon is designed for recreational sport use and not for professional use. No dive computer eliminates the risk of decompression sickness, and it does not replace diver training and preparation.
