Vai al moduloBlade available in three different hardness levels: 20 (extra soft), 25 (soft) and 30 (medium). This version has a hardness of 25 Soft. The surface finish is exposed carbon with a white monochrome graphic; the water rails are coloured, asymmetric, in black and white. Price per single blade.
Technology and materials
These blades are designed and built with a new progressive lamination of the carbon layers, combining 4 different types of Japanese carbon, each specific to a layer, to optimise reactivity and strength. The combined use of HT15 carbon on the outer surface (a C4 exclusive), intermediate zones with 7 layers of high-strength fabric, and a calibrated combination of multiple unidirectional layers produces unique reactivity and high fatigue resistance.
The water rails on the 200 fins are not glued but overmoulded at high pressure and temperature, using a specific moulding process that fuses the plastic material with the composite — a technique never used before on composite blades, developed and refined by C4's engineers. The polymer used for the water rails retains four times more elasticity over time than standard NBR, the material typically used for glued water rails, and the uniformity of the moulding process also prevents detachment issues caused by manual gluing failures.
The overmoulding technique has made it possible to create water rails with variable geometry. The section near the foot has a shape designed to protect the blade without overloading it with water or limiting its elasticity. The water rail shape then progressively changes, rising up to become an effective guide for the water flow, preventing drag loss and unwanted skidding.
