The 250 footpocket is the latest evolution of the fin footpocket created by C4. Price is for a single footpocket.

250 footpocket
Thanks to the use of a TPE 75 ShA polymer overmoulded onto a rigid insole, the 250 footpocket transmits energy from the foot to the blade as efficiently as possible, resulting in high-efficiency fins. Careful shape design has allowed for minimal wall thicknesses, reducing the weight of the 250 footpocket in size 41/42 EU to just 250 g (8.8 oz).
Performance
The reduced mass (weight) of the 250 footpocket minimises the energy required for movement, allowing the user significant energy savings and consequently less muscle fatigue. The connection between footpocket and blade, thanks to the internal insole, is rigid and solid, transmitting force to the blades with high efficiency. The spar-less blade attachment system, already created by C4 in 2006, allows the blade to flex elastically along its entire length.
Anatomy
The 3° pre-shaped anatomy of the 250 footpocket makes it particularly comfortable to wear. The thin walls adapt the shape of the upper to that of the foot, without painful constriction.
Material
The polymer used for the 250 footpocket is particularly elastic and allows for an easy, simple fit, improving comfort. The internal insole provides a footpocket that's rigid in the sole but comfortable in the upper.
Travel
The 250 footpocket has a simple blade attachment via a single sturdy M6 screw. Assembly and disassembly of the blade is quick and simple, with an optimal footprint for air travel.
Compatibility
The 250 footpocket has a specific coupling for MB series carbon blades and UP (Umberto Pelizzari) technopolymer blades.
Adaptability
With a dedicated modification, blades produced for the 300 and 400 footpockets can be adapted to fit the 250 footpocket. The modification consists of removing the spar rails from the 300 and 400 series blades and replacing the water rails with longer ones. We recommend having this operation carried out by an authorised C4 dealer. However, this modification does not provide the same performance as MB fins, which are based on advanced "reverse parabolic" flex curves.
The 250 footpockets are 100% Made in Italy by C4.
