Ratchet blocks control part of the load on the sheet, allowing for easy, precise, and rapid trimming and easing. They enable handling of high sheet loads by means of a pulley that only turns in the desired direction of adjustment. The hard-anodized aluminum sheave, 55 mm in diameter, features 12 titanium-silver-faced teeth that securely grip the sheet. Ideal for controlling mainsail sheets, jib sheets, and spinnaker sheets. The friction mechanism can be easily disengaged via an ON/OFF lever.
