The Navigation category encompasses product families with distinct but complementary functions. Marine GPS and chartplotters form the core of the electronic navigation system, often integrable into onboard networks with depth sounders, instruments and AIS systems. Depth sounders provide information on water depth and seabed morphology — essential for coastal navigation and sport fishing. Autopilots reduce the helmsman's workload on long passages, maintaining course with precision.

For safety, fixed and handheld VHF radios and EPIRB and PLB emergency beacons are mandatory or strongly recommended equipment depending on the type of navigation practised. Traditional instruments such as compasses and marine binoculars remain essential as backup and for quick, reliable everyday use. Nautical cartography completes the system, providing detailed coverage of navigational waters in digital or paper format.
