Available in 2 sizes (diameter x pitch, in inches): 13.5 x 15 and 13.25 x 17. Pitch is the trade-off between thrust and speed: a lower pitch accelerates better and carries more load, a higher pitch gives a higher top speed.

Technical specifications

Series: Solas Amita

Solas model code: YD

Blades: 3

Material: aluminium

Rotation: right-hand

Construction: squeeze-cast aluminium, four coats of anti-corrosion paint

Compatible engines: Honda: 75 - 90 - 80 NEW - 100 NEW - 115 (until 2009) - 130 - Mariner-Mercury-Mercruiser: 40 BIG FOOT 75-80-90-100-115-125 (2T / 4T) - F40EFI PRO NEW - Yamaha-Selva 4T: 60 - 70 - 75 - 90 - 100 - 115 - 130 - 140 (2T) - 40G - 70 - 80 - 90 - 100 - 115 (4T) - Tohatsu: 70 from ‘99 - 75 - 90 - 115 - 120 - 140 until 2002 PER MOTORI from 2003 USARE IL KIT ART. 2742016

Mounting kit: Multi-Fit Kit Honda 75-130 HP, Multi-Fit Kit Mercury 75-125 HP

Diameter x pitch (in)

Original reference

13.5 x 15

Honda: 58130-ZW1-W21ZA - Mariner-Mercury-Mercruiser: 48-77342A45 - Yamaha-Selva 4T: 6E5-45947-00-EL - Tohatsu: 3C7-64536-0

13.25 x 17

Honda: 58130-ZW1-W31ZA - Mariner-Mercury-Mercruiser: 48-77344A45 - Yamaha-Selva 4T: 6E5-45945-01-EL - Tohatsu: 3C7-64541-0

Before ordering, check the power, model year and hub type of your engine against the compatible engines and the original reference, where given.

Frequently asked questions

Which engines is the Solas Amita YD propeller for?

Solas Amita YD is for Honda, Mercury/Mariner, Tohatsu and Yamaha outboards of 40-140 HP. Exact make, power and model year are in the compatible engines list on this page: compare them with your engine and, where given, with the original reference of the propeller you are replacing.

Which pitch should I choose for Solas Amita YD?

Versions range from 15 to 17 inches of pitch (sizes: 13.5 x 15 and 13.25 x 17). If the engine cannot reach the maximum rpm given by the manufacturer at full throttle, or the boat is heavily loaded, you need a lower pitch; if it exceeds it, a higher pitch. As a rule of thumb, one inch of pitch more or less shifts engine speed by about 150-200 rpm.

Do I need a mounting kit for Solas Amita YD?

It depends on the engine. Multi-fit hub versions are mounted with the Multi-Fit Kit chosen by engine make and power: this page shows the indicated kit. The kit is a separate item.
